Prepared Parent™ ("Prepared Parent", "we", "us" or "our") provides parent education and school meeting support, including a free printable guide and a paid one-on-one School Meeting Clarity Session. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. By using our website, requesting our guide or booking a session, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request the guide, book a session or complete the intake form, we may collect:

  • Your first name, email address and phone number
  • Whether you are a parent, caregiver/guardian, family member supporting a child or other
  • The type of school meeting you are preparing for and when it is expected
  • Intake details such as your child's grade level, the meeting date, your main concern or question, what you most want clarity about, whether you have reviewed the guide and whether you prefer a Zoom or phone session (and the number to call if you choose phone)

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation that your payment was completed and basic order details.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your browser type, device, approximate location, pages viewed and the time you visited, using cookies and similar technologies.

What we do not ask for. We do not ask for your child's name, student ID numbers, report cards, evaluations or other student records. Please do not include them in any form, email or conversation with us.

2. How we use your information

  • To deliver your free guide and send the emails you signed up for
  • To process payment, schedule your session and prepare for it
  • To contact you about your session, including by phone if you choose a phone session
  • To send helpful follow-up emails about school meeting preparation and our related offers
  • To operate, secure and improve our website, funnels and services
  • To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes

3. Email and phone communications

We communicate with you by email. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. After you unsubscribe, we may still send service messages related to a session you have booked, such as confirmations and reminders.

We do not currently send text messages or run text-message campaigns. We collect your phone number so we can contact you about your session and for future follow-up. If we ever begin sending text messages, we will ask for your consent first.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do so, including:

  • Our website, funnel, scheduling, customer management and email platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector)
  • Stripe, for payment processing
  • Zoom, if you choose a video session

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety or that of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. These providers are expected to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep our pages working, remember your activity on our site and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how our pages work.

6. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, send the communications you requested, keep business and tax records and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your information as described below.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, including California and certain other U.S. states, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to know, delete and correct your information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children's privacy

Our website and services are for parents, caregivers and other adults.
